The high-speed image enhancement
and color correction software makes global enhancements for brightness and density
as well as local adjustments to sections recognized as skin, foliage and
the environment.
The software has nearly 40 tunable
parameters to provide a customized look and consistently good quality
images. A user can define multiple "channels" or sets of tunings
to accommodate for different types of images. For example, you can
accommodate for differences in images based on studio or photographer,
content such as weddings or portraits, subject ethnicity, etc.
The software is not limited, like
other image enhancement technologies, to global corrections. Bellamax can
actually make different adjustments to different parts of an image. For
example, we can increase density in the foreground while decreasing density
and opening up shadows in the background. This is how we can improve an
image in ways that cannot be done manually today with the most popular lab
tools.
